How to Get Your Free Credit Report

You are eligible to obtain one free copy of your credit report every 12 months from each of the three national credit reporting agencies. 

The easiest way to get your free reports is to access them online. 

“Only one website is authorized to fill orders for the free annual credit report you are entitled to under law — annualcreditreport.com. Other websites that claim to offer “free credit reports,” “free credit scores,” or “free credit monitoring” are not part of the legally mandated free annual credit report program.” – per the Federal Trade Commission

The three credit reporting agencies – Equifax, Experian, and Trans Union – utilize a central location for consumers to access their credit reports. 

Here’s what you do:

• Go to AnnualCreditReport.com to get your free credit report, today! 
• You may also call 1-877-322-8228 to request your free credit reports.
• You may mail a completed Annual Credit Report Request Form to:

  • PO Box 105281
  • Atlanta, GA 30348-5281
