Some members have reported receiving scam phone calls requesting debit and credit card information. A fraudster posing as an Eastman Credit Union representative has been contacting members stating that their card number has been compromised, and asking members to provide sensitive personal and financial information. If you receive a call from someone asking for your full debit or credit card number or states he is sending you a text with a code, hang up the phone and contact ECU at 800.999.2328 immediately to verify any unusual or suspicious requests.
Never give out your full card number, PIN, security code on the back of your card, or personal information over the phone, via email or text.
