Eastman Credit Union is seeking a Contact Center Specialist in our Longview, Texas location. This position delivers service excellence to members who elect to interact with ECU via phone. The Contact Center Specialist develops and maintains skills to assist members with a wide variety of financial needs, resulting in first contact resolution.     • Coordinate with Lending Center staff, branch staff, and other departments to refer or capture additional loan opportunities which may benefit members and ensure members are taken care of in a quick manner

Eastman Credit Union is seeking a Manager of Business Services Credit Administration. The Manager of Business Services Credit Administration manages daily activities of business and commercial loan underwriting and credit administration functions.  Supervises approval of business and commercial loans and issuance of commitment letters.  Makes sound and prudent underwriting decisions within individual loan authority.  Makes presentations and recommendations for credit facilities submitted to loan committees and Board of Directors.  Distributes agenda and leads weekly Internal Business Loan Committee meeting.  Ensures adherence to policies, procedures, regulations, and state and federal laws.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

·         Supervise, coach, and develop business and commercial lending underwriting and credit administration staff.

·         Exercise sound judgment in the execution of loan approval authority for business and commercial loans, including business online deposit limits and bill pay.  Make recommendations to loan committees and Board of Directors that articulate underwriting conclusions.

·         Ensure that business and commercial loans are underwritten in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations as well as internal policies, guidelines, and procedures.

·         Maintain industry and market knowledge relevant to underwriting of commercial real estate, multi-family, commercial and industrial, construction and residential investment loans.

·         Issue business and commercial loan commitments in accordance with loan approval conditions.  Countersign commitment letters within authority limits.

·         Approve changes and edits to standard loan documentation for specific transactions.

·         Maintain accurate commercial loan portfolio risk rating system in accordance with Business Services portfolio risk strategy.

·         Assist in establishing loan rates and pricing business and commercial loans.  

·         Evaluate and approve rate quotes for expanded market commercial loans.

·         Evaluate and approve pricing adjustments in competitive situations for local commercial loan transactions.

·         Maintain and monitor systems for reporting business and commercial loan concentrations to management and Board of Directors.

·         Maintain and monitor systems for providing accurate data on business and commercial loans for regulatory call reporting.

·         Must be able to interpret ambiguous and complex data using independent judgment and discretion.

·         Monitor underwriting decisions and asset quality measures and provide necessary coaching and training to underwriting staff.

·         Facilitates Internal Business Loan Committee meetings.

·         Facilitate Business Loan Asset Quality Committee meetings to review business and commercial loan asset classification reports, risk ratings, substandard loans, individual loan impairment, non-accrual status, troubled debt restructuring (TDR) reporting.

·         Participate and be liaison in independent loan reviews, audits and regulatory examinations. 

·         Facilitate and lead Credit Administration team meetings.

·         Participate and assist in business services department team meetings.

·         Serve as resource to credit administration staff.

·         Coordinate with other business services managers to ensure efficient, member-focused processes. Serve as the liaison between underwriting and origination staff to disseminate relevant information.

·         Resolve member complaints/errors.

·         Assist in the development of new products and services as well as enhancements to existing products and services.

·         Assist Director Business Services in budget process.  Review and respond to monthly budget variances as requested.

·         Review and authorize payment for invoices under accounts payable guidelines.

·         Assist in implementation of regulatory changes/updates.

·         Assist with maintenance of guidelines and policies.

Supervisory Responsibilities                                                      

Directly supervises employees in MBL underwriting and credit administration.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. o Receive phone calls for the Business Services group line.
o Answer questions, direct inquires and schedule appointments for business loans and services.
o Send application packets to members interested in applying for a business loan.
o Monitor Business Services Group inbox.
o Request documents such as financial statements from the business member in a timely manner.
o Maintain comprehensive knowledge of business entity types and legal structures. Document proper formation, registration and authorities for non-natural person entities as needed.
o Work with commercial lenders to prepare loans for approval.
o Assemble and maintain loan files as needed.
o Monitor pipeline for timely processing of loans.
o Work with attorneys / closing agents, collateral valuation, service providers, and borrowers to close loans in a timely manner. Show professionalism and courtesy.
o Assist members with business depository accounts and other services such as merchant services, ACH origination, online deposits, etc.
o Establish new ECU memberships needed to support loan origination including Personal, Trust, and business Primary Share and Share Draft accounts.

This is a floating position between various branches in our West Region. Primarily, you will be floating to our Duffield and Gate City, VA branches, but there is the potential of floating to Mt. Carmel, Rogersville, & Greeneville, TN branches, as needs arise.

Eastman Credit Union is seeking a Dealer Direct Coordinator. The Dealer Direct Coordinator originates and funds quality loans and opens memberships by maintaining strong, healthy relationships with Dealers and members, as well as enforce policies, guidelines, procedures, and processes to support profitable Dealer Direct program.  The Dealer Direct Coordinator must exhibit strong multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills.  The Dealer Direct Coordinator should be self-motivated, detail oriented, and exhibit the ability to work independently in a high-volume environment.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

·         Handling of applications/loans

·      Originate consumer loan applications submitted by Dealer(s) via DealerTrack or RouteOne by monitoring the Dealer Direct Queues in MeridianLink to ensure completeness prior to sending to Central Underwriters for review.

·      Scrutinize all loan applications received from Dealers for funding, assuring it has met ECU’s criteria before buying the loan. Send back to Dealers, loan applications that have not met ECU’s criteria.

·      Audit loan packets for accuracy and completeness to fund loans which are approved by System or Central Underwriters.

·      Complete and verify all income documentation to ensure accurate information is entered and is compliant with decisioned information.

·      Assure ECU retains control of lending process.

·         Asset Quality

·      Responsible for verifying membership and loan documents are accurate and complete, including member identification, prior to opening new membership and funding loan.

·      Ensure sound loan analysis through adherence to established lending practices, policies, and guidelines.

·      Audit memberships opened by Dealer Direct staff for early detection of any exceptions.

·         Service Excellence

·      Be available to answer calls from Dealers to:

          discuss credit applications

          communicate between Underwriters and Dealers

          provide payoffs

·      Maintain good working relationship with Dealers

·      Assist with problem resolution/concerns from Dealers and/or members.

·      Know and adhere to ECU’s Service Excellence Expectations.
