ECU Celebrates Relocated Boones Creek Branch

    December 18, 2020

Eastman Credit Union (ECU) is happy to announce the opening of their newest location in Boones Creek.

“The opening of this branch has been highly anticipated.  We’ve been in Boones Creek for several years, but this location, just across the parking lot from the previous location, increases our ability to serve members, as well as our visibility,” said ECU president and CEO, Kelly Price.

The Boones Creek Branch, still located near Food City, provides a full array of services including safe deposit boxes, more tellers and member service representatives, and a mortgage loan officer.

“We have over 48,000 members in Washington County, Tennessee, so this branch relocation is much needed. It will allow us to serve more members, faster,” said Price.

ECU is known for a wide range of product and service offerings.  In 2020, ECU once again received the designation from Magnify Money as having one of the best mobile banking apps in the nation.  Online banking services have been highly utilized by ECU members over the last 20 years, and 2020 was certainly no exception.

“We are glad to have such a robust mobile banking platform, but our branches will always be our heartbeat.  While our branches are open for members, ECU’s drive-throughs have gotten a workout this year with social distancing.  We’re excited that the new location has three drive-through lanes!  We look forward to having an even stronger presence in the heart of the Boones Creek community, beside our members, helping them grow,” said Price.

Eastman Credit Union has been steadfast at members’ sides for over 85 years, helping them build strong financial foundations. Because ECU is a not-for-profit financial institution, profits earned by ECU are returned to members through lower loan rates, better products, fewer fees, and consistently competitive deposit rates.  Since 1998, ECU has given back over $132 million to our members in an Extraordinary Dividend.  With the recent announcement of the $15 million dividend that will be paid out to our members in January 2021, this will bring our total to over $147 million paid to members just for doing business with us.
