Stay Alert and Protect Your Information

The holidays are a time for gift-giving and gestures of goodwill.  Unfortunately, they also bring scam artists who want to get their hands on your personal and card information.  It's important to stay alert and remember never to give your information in response to a phone call, text or email.

Eastman Credit Union, or its representatives, will never ask for your full card number, PIN or the security code on the back of your card.

If someone contacts you requesting your personal or credit/debit card information, you can be sure it's not ECU.  Follow these three simple steps:

Do not give any information via phone, text or email.

Hang up the phone, delete the email or forward the text to your phone service provider immediately.

Contact ECU at 800.999.2328 before you give any personal or card information to anyone who has contacted you and report the phone call, text or email right away.
