If you have upcoming travel plans, don’t forget to submit a travel notice with ECU before you go! Setting a travel notice for your Visa® debit or credit card can prevent ECU from flagging your out of state or international purchases as fraud.

  • Prevent your card from being declined
  • Avoid a security freeze on your account

Setting a Travel Notice in the ECU Cards App has never been easier!

We offer many ways to set your travel notice for your Visa® debit or credit card. You can simply log in to the ECU Cards App and select ‘Travel Notices’ to get started!

  • Log Into your ECU Cards App
  • Select Travel Notices
  • Add your New Trip with the ‘+’ In the Top Right Corner
  • Add your Destination
  • Search for your Travel Location
  • Select the Location
  • Add Departure Date
  • Select the days you will be traveling
  • Add Return Date
  • Save your Trip

After completing this check list, your new trip will appear on the 'Travel Notices' page of your Cards App! Be sure to add a travel notice to all the ECU cards you will be using on your trip!


Don’t have the ECU Cards App? We offer other ways to set a travel notice.

There are many other ways to set a travel notice. You can:

  • Log in to ECU Mobile or Online banking and submit a Travel Memo under 'Secure Forms'
  • Give us a call at 800-999-2328 during normal business hours
  • Visit one of our nearby branches
