Enhanced Account Summary and Preferences Update

What is the Enhanced Accounts Summary Update?

This is a feature update that improves the Account Summary screen in both ECU Mobile and ECU Online®. This update includes a refreshed user interface (UI) and additional functionality, such as the ability to favorite accounts, consolidate internal and external accounts, and more customizable account display options.

What is changing on the ECU Online Banking and ECU Mobile Account Summary screen?

Favorites: Users can now favorite accounts, which will move them to the top of the sort order within the Account Summary.

What is the new Favorites feature, and how does it work?

The Favorites feature allows users to designate specific accounts as favorites. These favorite accounts are then moved to the top of the Account Summary, while non-favorited accounts are grouped under an "Other Accounts" section that can be expanded.

What are the updates to the Account Preferences in ECU Online and ECU Mobile?

The Account Preferences feature has been updated with a refreshed design and maintains existing settings for nicknames, sort order, and shown/hidden accounts.

Specific updates include:

  • Rename Accounts: Users can easily rename accounts with a new design interface.
  • Reorder Accounts: Users can reorder accounts by dragging and dropping them into the desired position.
  • Show/Hide Accounts: Users can show or hide accounts with a simple toggle.

How are internal and external accounts displayed after the update?

Internal and external accounts are now consolidated within the Account Summary for both ECU Online Banking and ECU Mobile. External accounts are displayed under an "External Accounts" subsection, and their sort order can be managed within the Account Preferences. Note, the user must be enrolled in Money Management for any external accounts to be displayed.

Will the changes affect my current account preferences?

No, all existing account preferences such as nicknames, sort order, and shown/hidden accounts are expected to be maintained after the update. Users are not expected to reset their preferences after this update.
