Giving Back to Members
ECU’s board of directors once again approved an Extraordinary Dividend to be paid to members in January 2026 bringing the grand total returned to $225 million since 1998.
ECU members receive Extraordinary Dividends based on the amount of interest they’ve paid on loans and dividends they’ve earned on deposits throughout the year. The more business members do with ECU, the more they can receive.
Supporting Our Communities
Eastman Credit Union is deeply committed to supporting our communities in impactful ways. Through employee fundraising efforts and hundreds of volunteer hours, ECU team members actively participate in local initiatives and partner with nonprofit organizations to create positive change. We also provide generous donations that fund a wide range of programs addressing community needs—from education and healthcare to economic development.
Improving financial well-being for everyone remains our top priority. ECU empowers individuals through comprehensive financial education, offering resources and curricula that help members and students build confidence and make informed decisions. “People helping people” is at the heart of our credit union mission, guiding everything we do every day.
