What’s New with Money Management?

We’re excited to introduce an updated Money Management experience, designed to help you understand and manage your finances faster and easier than ever before.

Here’s what’s changing:
  • New Dashboard
  • New widgets for Recurring Transactions and Cash Flow
  • Fully responsive and dynamic widgets
  • Refreshed look and feel



 

Major Changes

Dashboard
  • Your landing page – showing all your key financial info at a glance.
  • Clean, modern design with quick access to insights like spending, budgets, and cash flow.
  • New widgets for Recurring Transaction and Cash Flow.
Accounts
  • The left side panel has been removed.
  • Streamlined view – see balances and edit account detail without extra clicks.
  • Improved visibility into account connections status.
Account Aggregation
  •  “Add an Account” has changed to “Manage Connections”. The button location is the same. 
  • To add an account, users will click on “Manage Connections” and click on the “+” button to open the account connection flow.
Cash Flow
  • The bar graphs have been replaced with simple math equations. This creates an easier to read visualization of what’s coming in vs. going out.
  • Recurring payments is now included by default
  • New account list summary for easier account viewing.
Recurring Transactions — New Feature
  • New tool to track recurring bills and subscriptions. 
  • These transactions can be viewed in list or calendar form for easier transaction planning.
Goals
  • The progress bar has been visually improved.
  • Types of goals can now be broken down into tabs. 
  • Completed goals can be viewed.
  • Celebrate a completed goal with a Celebration screen.



 

Minor Changes

Transactions
  • The filters and export tools have been updated. 
  • “Inline Insights” now highlight useful tips and trends directly in your transaction list.
Budgets
  • Budget bubbles now show how much is left or over, instead of the fraction previously presented.
  • Income tracking improved with real deposit data (no more manual entry).
  • Budget bubbles and text now meet better contrast and accessibility standards.
Spending
  • View by category with fewer clicks. 
  • Click into any category for  full breakdown of related transactions.
Trends
  • Click or hover over categories and graph segments to see relevant transactions. 
  • New Total Spending category. 
  • More transaction context added.
Debts
  • Snowball method has been updated.
  •  Paydown calculator has been improved.
Net Worth
  • New design makes it easier to track assets and liabilities. 
  • Summary of accounts lists.
  • New 4th time frame toggle for progress tracking (3, 6, 9, 12 months). 
Settings and Notifications — New Feature
  • The settings cog has moved from the top-right of the screen to the top-left. This has been added for easier access in the navigation panel.*

*Important: Push notifications are not available for Money Management Products at this time.

  • No user action is required.

No! All your data and settings carry over. Just enjoy the improved experience.

Click Manage Connections in the Accounts area to add or update linked accounts.

It tracks bills and subscriptions – showing what’s coming up in a calendar or list format, and what’s already been paid.

It now shows what you have left or overspent, not fractions. It also tracks real income, not estimates.

Yes! Now you can organize goals by type, track progress, and even see a celebration screen when you complete one.

Yes. Push notifications are not currently supported for Money Management.
