Delete Your Digital Banking Account

At Eastman Credit Union, we care about your privacy and offer a way to delete your Digital Banking account, if you choose.

To delete your Digital Banking account, which includes your login for our online banking system and mobile app, please follow the instructions below.

Please note the following effects when your account is deleted:

  1. No Access to ECU Digital Banking Services: You will lose all access to Online Banking or the ECU mobile app, and will be unable to log in.
  2. No Access to E-Statements: Electronic copies of past account statements will no longer be accessible. If you receive electronic statements or tax documents, you will start receiving them in paper format.
  3. Disabled Account Activities: We will disable or delete all activities set up within Online Banking or our mobile app. This includes real-time account alerts, Bill Pay payments and payee information, External Transfers, Member-to-Member Transfers, and scheduled or recurring transfers, as well as the history of these services. 
  4. Accounts and Loans Remain Unaffected: Your ECU accounts and loans will remain open and unaffected. This process will only delete your Digital Banking account.

If you still wish to continue with the deletion request, please send an e-mail to digitalbankingadmins@ecu.org and include your name as it is listed on your ECU account, along with the subject: "DELETE MY ACCOUNT."  Please note, we will only contact you using the contact information we have on file for your account.

Once you submit the e-mail, an ECU staff member will review your information and contact you for further verification within 3 business days. During verification, we will discuss specific impacts based on the features you use.
