      Eastman Credit Union is seeking a Solutions Assistant that will support Business Services and corporate business operations. The Solutions Assistant will provide software system maintenance and credit administrative support for business and commercial loan origination and the existing portfolio, will work with loan origination staff in assessing risk and compliance with rules and regulations, and provide analysis, data, and reports for assets quality measures, financial reports, and regulatory reports.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

      • Maintain credit management software Ncino, loan document software LaserPro, and interfaces for business and commercial loan and other systems. Maintain workflows in Ncino case submission to system vendors.
      • Responsible for timely installation of new software releases. Develop, implement, and coordinate lending testing plan for system upgrades. Maintain test environments for business and commercial systems.
      • Develop and write procedures for installation, use, and troubleshooting of software.
      • Design, implement, and maintain integrity of business and commercial loan tickler reports.
      • Monitor, test and validate tickler reporting for credit reviews, financial reporting, and collateral inspections.
      • Ensure system processes comply with all applicable laws and regulations as well as internal guidelines and procedures.
      • Must be able to interpret complex regulations and use professional judgment.
      • Assist staff with questions/issues and resolve recurring problems.
      • Responsible for providing data for Key Results Measures.
      • May prepare and deliver annual HMDA reporting for business loans in accordance with Regulation C.
      • Maintain Business Services Business Continuity plan for disaster recovery.
      • Maintain Business Services staff website with current information.
      • Assist in development, implementation, and testing of new products and software.
      • Assist in maintaining accurate business and commercial loan grading.
      • Perform impairment analysis for adversely classified loans. Provide Financial Services monthly Business Allowance for Loan Loss calculations for GAAP accounting.
      • Prepare monthly loan concentration and business and/or commercial assets classification reports for senior management and Board reporting.
      • Prepare reports on business and commercial loan-workouts. Provide Financial Services monthly reports on non-accruals and troubled debt restructurings (TDRs).
      • Prepare reports for business and /or commercial call report data.
      • Calculate and publish business and commercial product pricing.
      • Coordinate and assist with projects as requested.
      • Other duties as assigned.

      Backup Duties:

      Provides assistance and backup support for Solutions Analyst, credit analysis, underwriting, and credit administration functions.

      The Business Technology Specialist - Consumer Underwriting position maintains Velocity loan origination system, Instant Open online loan application, Credit Card Module and DocuSign environments for Lending Center, Card Services and Consumer Underwriting by performing the following duties

       

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

      • Maintain both Test and Production environments. Responsible for building/creating unique, technical code, which is used in Velocity, Instant Open, Credit Card Module and DocuSign to automate processes, create efficiencies, populate forms with loan information, prevent common staff errors, etc.
      • Maintain and update Velocity’s Decision Engine (Credit Tiering, Risk Based Pricing, Auto Underwriting, Automated Forms Selection, Automated Conditions and Alternative Loan Amount).
      • Maintain and update Velocity’s Interface Mapping Utility.
      • Maintain and update Velocity’s Forms Mapping Utility.
      • Maintain and update Instant Open Lending platform.
      • Maintain and update DocuSign templates.
      • Regularly monitor, analyze, and make suggestions to management for changes to the Velocity Auto Underwriting decision trees.
      • Routinely communicate with outside vendors in regard to new platforms, system enhancements, interfaces, special project implementations, troubleshooting issues, etc.
      • Implement any newly purchased platforms and/or enhancements for Velocity, DocuSign, or Instant Open.
      • Develop, coordinate, and implement plans to test business and functional processes during system development and new releases, quality assurance testing, and outside interfaces such as Credit Card Module, DNA, and Instant Open.
      • Coordinate the SPO (Subsequent Purchase Order) process for billable items in Velocity, Credit Card Module, and Instant Open.
      • Assist with budget for DocuSign ID Check billing as needed.
      • Monitor and document post-implementation problems, revisions and enhancement requests with vendors.
      • Routinely serve as a chosen resource to beta test for vendors such as DocuSign.
      • Responsible for maintaining ongoing compliance and implementing any new compliance changes.
      • Routinely create, update and pull various reports for tracking in Velocity, Instant Open and DocuSign.
      • Provide necessary system support for Lending Center, Card Services, and Consumer Underwriting.
      • Create and monitor open cases with Fiserv, FiVision and DocuSign.
      • Assist staff with questions and/or issues in a help-desk atmosphere for Lending Center, Card Services, and Consumer Underwriting.
      • Responsible for troubleshooting any technical issues with Lending Center, Card Services, and Consumer Underwriting staff, IT, vendors, etc.
      • Implement new loan products, services, promotions and processes with assistance and direction of management.
      • Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures for Lending Center, Card Services, and Consumer Underwriting.
      • Track and document changes to functional and business specifications as a part of ECU’s permanent record as they relate to assigned areas.
      • Ongoing analysis of system and product options to maximize efficiencies.
      • Coordinate and/or lead special projects or teams.

      Scheduling Requirements

      This position works 40 hours per week and must be available to work a varying schedule Monday through Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Your schedule will change weekly based on business volume and need.
      This is a floating position between various branches. Employees will float within one, regional area based on their home location [i.e. Kingsport, Johnson City, North (Bristol/Blountville/Abingdon), and West (Greeneville/Mt. Carmel, Allandale, Rogersville/Gate City & Duffield)

      o Perform teller transactions accurately and efficiently

      o Maintain up-to-date knowledge of teller policies, procedures, functions, and responsibilities and be able to refer to on-line procedures and relevant regulations

      o Maintain pleasant, positive and helpful attitude when dealing with members and co-workers
      o Maintain strict confidentiality toward member accounts within ECU as well as outside of ECU
      o Arrive at work and return from lunch/meetings promptly (be at workstation and ready to work at scheduled time)
