      Consumer Underwriter Functions:

      The Consumer Underwriter is responsible for underwriting consumer loans using sound lending principles; reviewing loan applications and analyzing credit to assess risk; making loan decisions in a timely efficient manner; routinely serving as a resource for consumer loan officers.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

      • Underwrite loans
        • Maintain thorough knowledge of ECU products
        • Maintain knowledge of regulations regarding the Consumer Lending process and decisioning
        • Review loan applications for compliance with ECU policies, guidelines and procedures prior to decisioning
        • Identify and correct errors/omissions in loan applications to facilitate quality loan decision-making
        • Analyze credit data to estimate degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money
        • Maintain quality by using sound lending principles in decision making when approving, declining or making a counter-offers
        • Identify credit improvement and cross-sell opportunities when appropriate
        • Make timely decisions which includes escalating to the appropriate people in decision-making process
      • Resource
        • Review and analyze loan applications for accuracy and appropriate documentation in accordance with ECU polices, guidelines and procedures
        • Identify errors and missing information in loan applications and return for correction
        • Serve as a resource and mentor staff by answering questions, clarifying concerns, and offering alternative options to members.

       

      High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 3 years of lending experience or equivalent preferred.

      Eastman Credit Union is seeking a Video and Digital Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for the development of the marketing messages and delivery through video and digital channels in accordance with corporate goals, strategies, and key initiatives.

      • Identify, develop, execute, and evaluate video marketing strategies to increase penetration of various products and services to current and potential members.
      • Responsible for video content design, development, and maintenance. Writes, edits, and publishes content for video to be used on organization website, social media, and other media.  Ensures content is clear, high quality, branded, well organized and presented in a way that helps achieve consistency across various media.
      • Manage and oversee all technical aspects of video recording and editing 
      • Implements standards for video media. Develops and implements maintenance procedures for video media. Assists with updates and content management for company website and video/digital media 
      • Collaborate with marketing team, Product and Regional Directors, and other departments within ECU
      • Follow ECU brand guideline
      • Represents the Credit Union in a professional manner while articulating benefits of membership and protecting and promoting ECU’s brand.

      • Assist and lead special projects involving other groups, including Administration, to produce corporate videos for staff and public consumption

      Desktop Support Specialist

       

       

      Eastman Credit Union is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to provide technical support for ECU staff. The Desktop Support Specialist will gather data and provide initial response for reported issues and, if unable to resolve, follow escalation protocols to the proper tier two support teams. Other duties include provide local support for desktop moves, phone support, and network support.

       

       

        POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Apply working knowledge of PC software and hardware, operating system and network services to provide technical end user support via email, phone, and desk-side assistance.
      • Schedule, process, and validate daily automated clearing house and batch processing.
      • Interact with tier two network and/or applications support staff to restore service and/or identify and correct reported issues.
      • Perform routine adds, moves, and changes within Active Directory.
      • Acquire, implement, and configure new and existing hardware/software.
      • Document incident information into Track-IT ticketing system.
      • Monitor system availability and performance.
      • Assist with desktop infrastructure implementation and configuration related to workstation/office moves.
      • Assist end users with issues and new product deployments related to ECU’s corporate mobile device technologies.
      • Serve as a member or leader of various ECU and/or special project teams.

       

      REQUIRED SKILLS

      • Self-motivated individual with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
      • Excellent organization skills and strong aptitude for attention to detail.
      • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and resolving IT equipment and software related issues. Experience with proprietary financial systems desired.
      • Proven customer service/support experience.
      • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
      • Ability to work individually and within a group.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

       

      REQUIRED EXPERINCE

      • Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related IT discipline or equivalent work experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. 
      • 2+ years’ experience in Information Technology or customer service related fields preferred.
      • Experience with Microsoft products and services. Microsoft and A+ certifications preferred.
